The International Scientific Conference, “Media and the Palestinian Cause in the Digital Transformation Era,” was held on July 14, 2025, in Ramallah and organized by Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK). Of 70 submitted papers, 30 were accepted after peer review, and 15 selected papers were published in a special issue of the Palestine Technical University Research Journal.

Guest Editor: Walaa Battat (Associate Prof.)

Dr. Walaa Battat is an Associate Professor of Media at Palestine Technical University–Kadoorie, Palestine. She holds a PhD in Media Studies , with research interests in media and communication, digital media, political communication, and children’s rights. Her research focuses on media representations of children in conflict, media framing, and the intersection of media and human rights. She is also the Founder and President of the Arab International Center for Research and Strategic Studies.
