Vol. 13 No. 04 (2025): Special Issue – The First International Scientific Conference: Media and the Palestinian Cause in the Era of Digital Transformation — Reality and Future Prospects
The International Scientific Conference, titled 'Media and the Palestinian Cause in the Digital Transformation Era: Reality and Future Prospects,' was held on July 14, 2025, in Ramallah. The conference was organized by Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK) under the patronage of His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa. The conference witnessed broad participation from local and international researchers, academics, and media professionals. Participants discussed several specialized scientific themes, most notably: media narrative and interactive discourse, the Palestinian cause in Arab and international media, the application of artificial intelligence in the media sector, and various other primary and secondary topics. A total of seventy research papers were submitted to the conference. Thirty of these papers were accepted following a rigorous scientific peer-review process conducted by the conference's Scientific Committee. This committee comprised a select group of academics from Palestinian, Arab, and international universities, all of whom were officially commissioned by the conference presidency. At the conclusion of the conference, fifteen of the accepted research papers were published in a special issue of the Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie Research Journal. This was carried out in collaboration with the university's Deanship of Scientific Research in Tulkarem, reinforcing the university's mission to support scientific research and advance knowledge in the fields of media and Palestinian studies.
