This study examines the structure of media discourse on the Palestinian issue after Al-Aqsa Flood through Gulf-based electronic news platforms, specifically Al Jazeera Net and Al Arabiya Net as case studies. The research aims to analyze the narratives employed by these two websites and uncover the methods used in presenting the Palestinian issue within their media discourse. The study adopts a survey methodology and content analysis tool to examine the sampled publications, which were intentionally selected from October 7, 2023, to August 31, 2024, resulting in 118 analyzed units. The study concludes with several findings, most notably that the structure of media discourse in Gulf electronic news platforms relies on new narratives regarding the Palestinian issue. The Al-Aqsa Flood operation reshaped the media frameworks for addressing the cause, highlighting its local and international dimensions. During this period, media discourse focused on themes related to advocating for the Palestinian issue, integrating it into the global agenda, and countering Western misinformation using their media arsenal.
