This research aims to foresee the future and explore the potential impacts of the development of artificial general intelligence on media education in Palestinian universities, and the extent to which academics are prepared to absorb and employ it when it materializes. The study was conducted on a sample of 25 faculty members in various media departments at Palestinian universities. The study found that the respondents' awareness of the concept of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is relatively high, and that the overall mean of the respondents' perception of the readiness of Palestinian universities to adopt AGI is relatively high, and that there are ethical challenges in terms of algorithmic bias in providing content or evaluation in limited or general artificial intelligence, followed by the spread of misleading or fabricated information resulting from limited or general artificial intelligence, especially with regard to the Palestinian issue.
