Author Guidelines

1. Submission Guidelines and Author Instructions

   • Submit original research work accompanied by an objective discussion of its significance.
     • Submit manuscripts containing accurate and required data; inaccurate or fraudulent data are considered unethical and unacceptable.
     • Avoid submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously, as this is considered unethical publishing behavior.
     • Manuscripts must be original and represent the authors’ own scientific efforts, with proper citation of all sources.
     • Avoid all forms of plagiarism, which are considered unethical publishing practices.
     • Include all contributing authors in the manuscript’s author list, with full approval of the final version by all authors.
     • No new authors may be added after the peer-review process is completed.
     • Authors must promptly notify the editors if a significant error or inaccuracy is discovered in their published work and cooperate in correcting or retracting it.

   Manuscript Preparation and Submission Requirements

   First: Manuscript Preparation Requirements

   Authors must use the official journal template (Arabic or English) without modifying its settings or formatting, and adhere to the following:

   1. Manuscript and Author Information
   • Provide the manuscript title in both Arabic and English.
     • Include authors’ names and institutional affiliations in both Arabic and English.
     • Provide the corresponding author’s email address.
   2. Abstract
   • Each manuscript must include two abstracts:
   • Arabic abstract
   • English abstract
     • Each abstract must not exceed 250 words.
   3. Keywords
   • Include 3–5 keywords reflecting the study topic and fields for indexing purposes.
   4. Manuscript Structure

   The manuscript must include the following sections:
   • Introduction (study topic, problem, scope, objectives, methodology, and procedures)
   • Literature Review
   • Materials and Methods
   • Results and Discussion (combined or separate)
   • Tables and figures must be inserted immediately after being cited
   • Avoid repeating numerical data from tables; reference and discuss them instead
   • Conclusion (key findings and recommendations)
   • References (Arabic, translated Arabic, and foreign sources)

   5. Tables
   • Tables must be numbered consecutively and included in the text.
     • Table titles should appear above the table on the same line, using Sakkal Majala, size 11, bold.
     • Notes below tables should be size 10, regular.
     • Table text font:
   • Column headers: size 10, bold
   • Table content: size 10, regular
     • Remove all internal and external table borders.
   6. Figures and Illustrations
   • Figures must be numbered consecutively and included in the text.
     • Figure number and title should appear below the figure on the same line, using Sakkal Majala, size 11, bold.
     • Explanatory notes below figures should be size 10, regular.
     • Remove all internal and external borders.
   7. Text Formatting
   • Use Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) throughout the manuscript.
     • Single line spacing.
     • Page numbers centered at the bottom of the page.
     • Margins:
   • Top & Bottom: 1 inch
   • Left & Right: 1.5 inches
   8. Font Type and Size
   • Main title: Sakkal Majala, 14 pt, bold
     • Authors’ names: 12 pt, bold
     • Author affiliations: 10 pt, bold
     • Main headings: 14 pt, bold
     • Subheadings: 12 pt, bold
     • Body text: 12 pt, regular
   9. English Headings Formatting
   • Main headings: CAPITAL LETTERS
     • Subheadings: Capitalize the first letter only

   Second: Manuscript Submission Conditions

   1. Electronic Submission
      Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal website after registration.
   2. File Format
      Manuscripts must be submitted in Word format only.
      • Strict adherence to the journal template is required.
   3. Appendices
      Full data collection tools (e.g., questionnaires) may be attached for review purposes only and will not be published.
   4. Page Limit
      Manuscripts must not exceed 25 pages, including all components, at initial submission.
   5. Page and Line Numbering
      Pages must be numbered electronically according to the journal template.
      • Continuous line numbering is required for peer review.
   6. Author Anonymity
      Authors’ names or affiliations must not appear in the manuscript text or reveal identity, except when citing their own work.
   7. Language Quality
      Authors are responsible for ensuring:
   • Linguistic, grammatical, and spelling accuracy
   • Accurate and clear translation
   8. Referencing Style
      All manuscripts must follow the journal’s approved referencing guidelines.
   9. Translation of Arabic References
      All Arabic references must be translated and listed separately under “Translated Arabic References,” while also remaining in the Arabic references list.

   Reviewer Guidelines

   Pre-Review Stage

   Upon receiving a new manuscript, the Editor-in-Chief conducts an initial screening to ensure readability, completeness, correct formatting, originality, relevance to the journal scope, and clarity of English language. A preliminary quality assessment is also conducted.

   All submissions are screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software. The similarity index must not exceed 20%, and AI-generated content must not exceed 20%. Manuscripts failing to meet these criteria may be rejected at this stage. The decision is also reviewed by the Deputy Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor.

   Reviewers are responsible for critically reading and evaluating manuscripts within their expertise and providing respectful, constructive, and honest feedback. The journal applies a double-blind peer-review system.

   Reviewer responsibilities include:
   • Assisting editors in improving manuscripts before final editorial decisions
   • Declining review if unqualified, unavailable, or facing conflicts of interest
   • Treating manuscripts as confidential documents
   • Reporting plagiarism or ethical violations
   • Conducting objective and constructive reviews
   • Highlighting originality, contribution, technical quality, clarity, and depth
   • Ensuring compliance with journal guidelines and publication ethics
   • Avoiding hostile or accusatory language
   • Providing review reports in a separate file with clear, itemized comments
