Opinions of A'sharqiyah University students on distance education during Corona pandemic

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the degree of A'sharqiyah University students’s opinios about distance education during Corona pandemic. It also aimed to search for the difficulties facing A'sharqiyah University students in distance education. The study used the descriptive approach, where the study tool (questionnaire) was built. it consisted of two categories: the first category about the opinions of A'sharqiyah University students about the advantages of distance education during Corona pandemic. It consists of (8) items. The second category is about the difficulties facing A'sharqiyah University students in distance education. It consists of (5) items. The study sample consisted of (244) students from A'sharqiyah University. The study concluded that the views of A'sharqiyah University students about the advantages of distance education during Corona pandemic were at an average degree with a mean score of  (3.36) The study also concluded that the degree of difficulties that faced the students of A'sharqiyah University in distance education was at an average degree with a total mean score of (3.09). The study made several recommendations, the most important of which is the need to include part of the course lectures for distance education so that students become aware about the use of distance education technologies if we face the same circumstances later.
