This study aimed to identify the role of social solidarity in reducing the psychological stress of the players of the premier leagues of volleyball in Jordan from their own perspective. The sample of the study consists of (80) players who were chosen in the intentional method from the community of the study. The researchers used the descriptive approach as well as they designed a questionnaire to assess the role of social solidarity in reducing the psychological stress of the volleyball players in Jordan from their own perspectives. This questionnaire is consisted of three domains: (the psychological, the administrative, and the social domain). The results of the study show that the social solidarity plays a substantial role in reducing the psychological stress to the players of the premier clubs in Jordan as well as not finding significant statistical differences that can be attributed to the variables of the academic credential and years of experience
In the light of the study, the researchers recommend enhancing and maintaining the role of social solidarity to reduce the psychological stress in all of the volleyball clubs in Jordan with its different stages (the premier, the firs) in addition to activating it through making training courses, seminars, and different workshops.
