Abstract

 This study aimed at revealing Challenges of digital learning (distance learning) in light of Corona pandemic's era changes from students 's point of view (A model from Imam Nasir bin Murshid School for Boys (10-12)). The study population consisted of all students in the eleventh grade of post-basic education (11-12) at Imam Nasir bin Murshid Governmental School for Boys (10-12) in the Governorate of South Al Batinah in the Sultanate of Oman for the academic year 2020/2021 AD, and their number was about (400) students. The study sample consisted of (168) students in the school. To achieve the study's goals, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, a questionnaire was prepared consisted of (6) statements, and an attitude scale consisting of (14) statements. The tools' reliability and stability have been verified. The study's results showed that the most important challenges, from students’ point of view, were the network that related to the “Internet” and devices and their accessories that used for digital learning came to a high degree and the eleventh grade students’ attitudes level towards digital learning was neutral. The study's  results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the sample members' estimates towards digital learning according to the subject variable (literary subjects/scientific subjects/individual skills subjects). The researcher recommended the necessity of accelerating the improvement of the internet, the provision of electronic devices in sufficient quantity and quality for the digital learning process, the development of awareness among students about the use of digital (electronic) learning in school teaching and its impact on knowledge achievement and skills development, and the enhancement of students’ attitudes towards digital learning and its application on other samples and stages.
