The study aimed to identify the degree of availability of social and emotional learning competencies in the classroom communities linked to the (Microsoft teams) platform among students of Al Sharqiya University in the Sultanate of Oman. The questionnaire consisted of (5) competencies and (36) indicators after translation and presented to the arbitrators. The study sample consisted of (185) female students in the Applied Mathematics course at Al Sharqiyah University in the Sultanate of Oman. The results of the study showed that the total degree of availability of social and emotional learning competencies in the classroom communities linked to the (Microsoft teams) platform was significant, with an arithmetic mean (2.42), and a percentage (80.6%), and the degree of availability of each competency was significant, where The efficiency of self-awareness got the first rank with a percentage of availability (82%), and in the second rank came the efficiency of responsible decision-making with a percentage of availability (81%), followed by the third rank the efficiency of relationship skills, and the availability rate (80.6%), while the fourth rank was the efficiency of awareness The efficiency of self-management came at an availability rate of (80.6%), and the efficiency of self-management came in the last rank (79%). The researchers recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: The necessity of employing the Microsoft Teams platform in teaching university courses due to its features and additions that allow the inclusion of supporting applications for social and emotional learning. Spreading awareness of the importance of including social and emotional learning competencies in distance learning platforms
