Istiqlal University's Role in Enhancing Intellectual Security from Students Point of View

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of Istiqlal University in enhancing intellectual security when students from their point of view, through the role of faculty members, teaching curricula and student activities, as well as to reveal whether there are differences between the average grades of students towards the role of Istiqlal University in enhancing intellectual security when students from their point of view are due to variables (type, specialization (college), school level). The problem with the study was its main question: What is the role of Istiqlal University in enhancing intellectual security when it is requested from their point of view? To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, where the researcher prepared a questionnaire that included (52) paragraphs spread over four axes : Faculty member, curriculum, student activities, military training, and the sample included (105) students out of the study community (bachelor's students) of 816 students for the 2021 academic year - 2020, one of the most important findings of the researcher: the existence of a large and distinctive role of Istiqlal University in enhancing intellectual security when students, where the estimates of students about the role of the university in promoting intellectual security among its students (89.23%), Based on the results of the study, one of the most important recommendations of the researcher was: to conduct further studies on the various dimensions of intellectual in higher education institutions and to show the most important factors affecting the building of the intellectual system among university youth, and thus to know the sources from which university youth draw their ideas, and the extent to which they affect intellectual security in general.
