The aim of this study was to explore the level of work motivation and its relationship with the social security level among employees of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior. A questionnaire was used as a research tool, administered to a stratified random sample of 256 employees, representing 39.3% of the study population, which consisted of 650 employees of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior. After collecting and statistically processing the data using social science statistical methods, the study yielded the results that motivation level among employees of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior ranged from moderate to high, with the mean scores for dimensions ranging from 3.65 to 4.26. This indicates a high level of work motivation among the employees, as reflected in the total score with an average of 3.95 (79%). Similarly, the social security level among employees of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior was found to be between moderate and high, with mean scores for items ranging from 3.22 to 4.30. The overall average was 3.96 (79.2%). The results suggest a statistically significant positive relationship between social security level and work motivation among employees of the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, with a correlation coefficient of 0.561. This implies that as the level of motivation increases, the level of social security among employees also increases. The study recommended the necessity of strengthening the principle of equal opportunities among employees in government institutions, paying attention to equality among them, increasing the level of interaction between employees, focusing on joint teamwork, and appreciating the efforts made by the employee at work because this helps to continue providing this effort and constitutes a non-material incentive for the employee.
