Abstract

This study aimed to identify the attitudes of the tenth grade students in Palestine towards joining the vocational education. The study sample consisted of (135) students from the tenth grade in public schools. The researchers adopted the descriptive methodology, and the data was collected through a questionnaire consisted of (20) items and a guided interview. The findings revealed that Palestinian tenth grade students generally held attitudes towards enrolling, in vocational education. In addition, there were no significant differences found in terms of student attitudes based on their fathers’ qualifications or their own academic achievements. The researchers suggested that efforts should be made to enhance student attitudes through involvement, school initiatives and the implementation of classes specifically designed for tenth grade students.
