About the Journal

Welcome to PTURJ

Palestine Technical University Research Journal (PTURJ) (ISSN: 2307-809X, online; 2307-8081, print) is an open-access, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal published three times annually, with one additional special issue. Since its inaugural issue in 2013, the journal has been dedicated to advancing scientific research and promoting scholarly communication within the Palestinian community and beyond. PTURJ publishes original research articles in both Arabic and English and does not charge authors any submission, processing, or publication fees, ensuring free and open access to high-quality scientific research.

Current Issue

Vol. 14 No. 03 (2026): Palestine Technical University Research Journal (PTURJ)-Special Issue (Digital Transformation and Intelligent Technologies in Education)

This issue looks at how digital technologies are changing the way we teach and learn. The articles explore the use of artificial intelligence and virtual reality in universities, from art and mathematics to language teaching and vocational training. Some focus on how students and teachers interact in a digital setting, including how students work with chatbots on their own. Others look at building intercultural competence in future teachers and preparing specialists with the help of AI. Together, they offer practical ideas for making education more modern, flexible, and effective.

 

Guest Editor

Mr. Kamran N. Asgarov

graduated with honours from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Baku Branch, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Azerbaijan Technical University, Department of Engineering Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, and works as a senior software engineer at R.I.S.K. Company. His research interests include machine learning for endpoint anomaly and baseline deviation detection, telemetry analysis, behavioral biometrics and continuous authentication.
