The researcher used the mixed descriptive approach that combines the quantitative and qualitative approaches. A questionnaire was applied to the study sample consisting of (933) teachers and parents, who were reached using the stratified random cluster method. (10) standardized individual interviews were also conducted with educational experts, who were reached intentionally. The results showed that the reality of the educational dimensions resulting from the privatization of Arab schools in the Haifa and northern districts from the point of view of teachers and guardians came at a high degree. Teachers and parents indicated that privatization of education leads to raising educational efficiency and quality of education, while educational experts confirmed that there is no difference in the quality of education between private schools and government schools, and that privatization of education leads to government schools losing their outstanding students. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of teachers’ and parents’ responses attributed to monthly income, educational level, and status, but they showed statistically significant differences attributed to the professional status of the parents. The study recommended that the Ministry of Education reconsider its policy of expanding private education, as the results showed that there is no clear evidence that private schools provide a quality of education that is superior to that of government schools.

2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/642A proposed conception of a training program based on the use of technological innovations for faculty members at Kadoorie University according to the ADDIE model and according to their training needs.2025-07-06T04:47:55+00:00Ayat Ikbarieah[email protected]Mousab Aboushi[email protected]
The objective of the study was to identify the most important skills needed to use technological innovations at Kadoorie University for faculty members and to design a training program based on the use of technological innovations according to the ADDIE model, tailored to their training needs. To achieve the objective of the study and to address the research questions and hypotheses, the researcher developed a definition for the training program. The researcher also developed an evaluation card for the training program, which included the following components: (general framework of the training program, educational objectives of the training program, content of the training program, strategies and methods of the training program, methods of evaluating the training program). The card contained 27 items. The study population consists of all 276 teaching staff members at Kadoorie University/Major Branch, while the simple random sample included 65 faculty members. The results of the study showed the training needs of faculty members in the design of electronic curricula (adequacy of design and planning), training needs in dealing with interactive applications, training needs in designing presentations, and training needs in the use of Zoom tools. The researcher made several recommendations, the most important of which are the need to periodically survey the training needs of faculty members, to continue organizing training programs based on these needs, to collaborate with global and local universities, and finally, to recommend that the university adopt the proposed training program.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/691The effect of family support on the relationship between gender differences and academic performance of accounting students at Palestine Technical University Kadoorie 2025-07-21T07:06:41+00:00Hosni Shanak[email protected]Talia Mansour[email protected]
This research sought to examine the effect of gender difference on the academic
performance of accounting students at Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, moreover, the effect
of family support on the relationship between gender difference and academic performance as a
moderator variable , In addition to studying some factors that may have an impact on academic
performance as a control variables, such as regular attendance, regular study, smoking, social media,
and Extracurricular activities. The study was applied to a sample of (61) male and female teachers from Nazareth schools at all levels (elementary, preparatory, and secondary), using the descriptive-analytical approach. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The study results revealed no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample regarding (the principal's work and professionalism, the principal's relationship with teachers, and teachers' feelings) attributable to the gender variable. There were also no differences regarding (the principal's work and professionalism) attributable to the fellowship variable, while differences appeared regarding (the principal's relationship with teachers, and teachers' feelings) attributable to the fellowship variable. The results also showed no statistically significant differences in the average responses of the study sample regarding (the principal's work and professionalism, and the principal's relationship with teachers) attributable to the duration of acquaintance with the principal. However, there were statistically significant differences in the average responses of the study sample regarding (the principal's work and professionalism, and the principal's relationship with teachers) attributable to the variable of duration of acquaintance with the principal. The study sample responses regarding (teachers' feelings) are attributed to the variable of the duration of the principal's knowledge, in favor of less than 5 years. The study concluded to expand the scope of the study to include other factors that may be more influential, such as leadership styles or the school work environment, to determine the actual factors that affect the "principal's work and professionalism," "the principal's relationship with teachers," and "teachers' feelings."
2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/655The Impact of tribal expulsion on Individual rights (A comparative study between Jordan and Palestine) 2025-08-18T08:00:56+00:00Mohammad Sara[email protected]
Tribal expulsion is considered one of the customary practices that are still applied in some Arab countries, such as Jordan and Palestine, despite the abolition of tribal courts and the adoption of modern laws. It is resorted to as a customary means to contain disputes and prevent bloodshed by forcibly removing the perpetrator's family from their homes, despite their lack of responsibility for the criminal act other than the blood tie that binds them to the perpetrator. However, this practice leaves significant social and legal impacts, affecting the social fabric and threatening the principles of justice and the rule of law, foremost among them the principle of personal punishment, which prohibits punishing those not responsible for the crime. The study aimed to analyze tribal expulsion from a legal and social perspective, review its practical applications, and highlight its contradictions with mandatory legal rules. The study concluded that tribal expulsion constitutes a blatant violation of human rights and contributes to the disintegration of the social fabric, especially in the State of Palestine, where the occupying authorities exploit this practice to impose forced displacement on families under the guise of custom. This necessitates a reconsideration of the practice and a reduction in its continuation, in line with the principles of justice and human dignity.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/658Transparency Strategies and Their Role in Managing Organizations' Crises2025-08-18T08:01:05+00:00Fedaa Qarmash[email protected]
The study aimed to identify the role that transparency strategies play in crisis management within companies, particularly in light of ongoing and dynamic challenges, as well as the internal and external environmental transformations—whether economic, social, or otherwise—that may limit companies’ ability to adapt and could lead to crises at various organizational levels, thereby negatively impacting performance and efficiency. To achieve the study’s objectives, a questionnaire consisting of 30 items was developed as the primary research tool. A comprehensive survey approach was adopted, targeting all employees of Al-Hejaz Chocolate Company. The findings revealed a statistically significant effect (P ≤ 0.05) of transparency strategies—with their dimensions (information transparency, clarity of mechanisms, and decision-making transparency)—on crisis management across all its dimensions within the company. The study emphasized the importance of involving employees and encouraging them to propose solutions to the challenges faced by the organization.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/701Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Its Relationship to Social Media Addiction among An-Najah National University Students2025-08-25T06:20:59+00:00Filasteen Nazzal[email protected]Adham Abu Ibaya[email protected]Helmi Fares[email protected]
The study aimed to identify the level of narcissistic personality disorder among An-Najah National University students and its relationship to their level of addiction to social media, from the students' own perspectives. The study used a descriptive/survey and correlational approach. The sample consisted of (90) male and female students, who were administered the Al-Maqdadi and Al-Sharifain Narcissistic Personality Disorder Scale and the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale. The study found that the students' level of narcissistic personality disorder was "average," and their level of social media addiction was also "average." A statistically significant correlation was found between the students' level of narcissistic personality disorder and their level of social media addiction. In light of the results, it is recommended that future studies be conducted to uncover the causes of high levels of narcissism among males, in addition to holding training workshops aimed at raising awareness of the dangers of excessive use of social media and reducing addiction.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/703The Reality of Integrating Digital Transformation Applications and Their Impact on Al-Aqsa University Students’ Achievement from Their Perspective Amid the War on the Gaza Strip2025-09-15T09:30:22+00:00Fatma Abeed[email protected]
This study aims to examine the reality of integrating digital transformation applications (Moodle, YouTube, WhatsApp) into the course “Design and Production of Instructional Materials” and to measure their impact on the academic achievement of Al-Aqsa University students amid the war on the Gaza Strip, which has imposed unprecedented challenges on the continuity of the educational process. The significance of this study lies in highlighting the experience of digital learning within an exceptional Palestinian context affected by war and blockade, making it of both scientific and practical value in the field of higher education. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical and quasi-experimental approach, using a pre–post design with two research tools: a questionnaire to measure the reality and effectiveness of application integration, and an achievement test to assess students’ academic performance. The sample consisted of 34 female students from the Department of Educational Sciences at Al-Aqsa Community College, who were purposively selected, as they were the actual enrollees in the target course during the 2024/2025 academic year. The findings of the questionnaire revealed an increase in post-test mean scores compared to the pre-test, reflecting a noticeable improvement in students’ evaluation of the effectiveness of digital applications in facilitating access to content, enhancing interaction, and supporting self-learning. The results of the achievement test also indicated statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test, as students’ scores improved considerably after the experiment, confirming the positive impact of integrating these applications on their knowledge acquisition. In light of these findings, the study recommends strengthening the integration of digital transformation applications in the design and delivery of university courses, training faculty members on their effective use, and preparing a flexible digital learning environment that ensures continuity and quality of education, particularly in times of emergencies and crises.

2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/653The Effect of the Artificial Intelligence Techniques On Humanitarian Logistics Operations in Palestinian Disaster Management Institutions2025-09-24T07:20:40+00:00Nadia Demeh[email protected]Ahmed Zaid[email protected]
Disasters are increasing rapidly in countries around the world. Given the security situation in Palestine, high rates of disaster occurrence are expected in the region in the coming years. Consequently, there exists an urgent necessity to enhance humanitarian logistical operations in Palestine. Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies can greatly improve these activities, according to trends in developing nations. The purpose of this research is to examine how humanitarian logistics operations in Palestinian crisis management organizations are impacted by artificial intelligence approaches. Ninety top and intermediate managers were randomly selected to participate in a survey to gather data. The data was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that artificial intelligence techniques have a positive impact on the dimensions of humanitarian logistics operations, including speed of response, efficiency, agility, and magnitude of damage mitigation. This study helps practitioners better grasp the opportunities and difficulties of using artificial intelligence techniques in a humanitarian setting in Palestine by providing both theoretical insights and real-world implementations.
2025-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Palestine Technical University Research Journalhttps://rj.ptuk.edu.ps/index.php/pturj/article/view/675The Reality of Participative Leadership and Its Relationship with Security Crisis Management in the Central Operations Administration of the Palestinian Police2025-09-21T07:33:24+00:00Ali Ayaydeh[email protected]Imad Eshtaya[email protected]
The study aimed to identify the reality of participatory leadership and its relationship with security crisis management in the Central Operations Directorate of the Palestinian Police Force.
